Dr. Marc Villeneuve obtained his Medical Degree from Laval University, Quebec City in 1985 and completed his training specializing in Obstetrics-Gynecology at the same institution in 1990. He was a Recipient of The Samuel G McLaughlin Foundation’s scholarship from 1990 to 1992 and completed his fellowship studies in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at The Medical College of Georgia (MCG) during those two years.
Dr. Villeneuve is Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and also in Reproductive Endocrinology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and by the Quebec College of Physicians. Dr. Villeneuve is a certified first trimester ultrasonographer and has passed both theoretical and practical examinations by the Foetal Medicine International Foundation. Dr. Villeneuve has written numerous articles in peer-reviewed Journals and has given several national and international presentations in his field of competence.
The department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Laval University has given Dr. Villeneuve the title of Clinical Teacher and he has been involved in teaching and research in obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive endocrinology since 1992 at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Québec. Dr. Villeneuve is one of the medical directors on the ART medical board of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society. He is an active member of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society and of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine.
