Dr. Karen Buzaglo’s expertise in reproductive endocrinology and infertility combined with her warm nature ensures that each of her patients feels well supported throughout their fertility treatment journey. She focuses on individualized care and her patients often describe her as a reassuring and pleasant doctor, passionate about her work and truly caring for them.
Dr. Buzaglo completed her medical studies at McGill University in 2004 and then continued his studies in obstetrics and gynecology. In 2011, she became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and then completed an over-specialty in Gynecologic Endocrinology of Reproduction and Infertility (EGRI) at the University of Montreal in 2013 for which she graduated from Royal College. Among her greatest areas of interest is the preservation of fertility for cancer cases and for elective reasons.
She is President of the Special Interest Group in Fertility Preservation for the Canadian Society of Fertility and Andrology and Vice President of Avenir Fertile, a non-profit organization that financially assists young Canadians with cancer to preserve their health. fertility. She also has particular expertise in Halachic fertility laws for Orthodox Jewish couples. Dr. Buzaglo is active in the field of research and regularly presents at conferences such as the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada (SOGC). The Canadian Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), and the International Society for Fertility Preservation (ISFP). She was the recipient of the Eric and Jane Molson Award for Excellence in Research by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at McGill in 2010.
