Martin Laforest – Embryologist

Martin Laforest has been working in the fertility field for over 18 years. He began his studies with a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) in Medical Biology at the University of Trois-Rivières (UQTR) that he completed in 2002. He then continued towards the Masters in Animal Sciences (M. Sc.), biology component of animal reproduction and graduated in 2004 at Laval University (U.L). He wrote and jointly participated to several scientific articles.

Hired in 2004, he still continued to work in the fertility team as a senior embryologist. He actively participates at the clinical level in improving the quality of life embryos, innovates in improving clinical techniques and services offered to patients, as well as overall general improvements in clinical processes. In 2008, he also participated in the validation of clinical fertility test aimed at marketing the test, this time on the masculine side: a collaboration made with Contravac. He also actively participates in research and development (R & amp; D) in fertility, in collaboration with Laval University, during research projects
associated.

He is also a certified member of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (SCFA) and is member in good standing of the Order of Quebec Chemists (OCQ).
