Technology has made so much progress that women are now using fertility applications to increase their chances of conceiving! While nothing can replace the personal recommendations of a Procrea Reproductive Specialist, if you’re just starting to think about getting pregnant, these apps might help you understand your cycle and your fertile periods.
- Kindara is a free application that offers a premium version with upgrades. Kindara offers additional products that you can use with the Wink mobile app, a basal temperature thermometer. This is not necessary, however, you can simply use your own thermometer and enter your temperatures manually. The app helps women predict their fertile days, ovulation and menstruation based on information provided daily.
- Period Tracker is a free app with different modes; you can use it only to track your menstrual cycles, or use Trying to Conceive (TTC) mode or Pregnancy mode. The TTC mode predicts the days of ovulation and fertility to program the act and thus offer better chances of conception. This app also offers additional features through a paid subscription.
- Monthly Cycles is another free app with possible purchases within the app. Follow your rules, your temperature, and symptoms to get your days fertile.
- Eve is another free app with subscription option to get premium upgrades. She says she is evolutionary, so do not miss to use it to follow your rules, your temperature, your cervical fluids and other symptoms. Eve predicts fertile windows, ovulation and your next cycle.
Remember that these apps are just a starting point. If you’re under 35 and have been trying for a year or if you’re over 35 and have been trying for six months, maybe it’s time to make an appointment with a fertility doctor from Procrea Ontario or Quebec.
